Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026. This policy explains how PrismSwift uses location and related signals in PrismSwift AHEAD to deliver highway safety alerts.
What we collect
To detect hazards and warn nearby drivers, the app may process approximate or precise location, speed and heading where available, device identifiers used for reliability and abuse prevention, app settings you choose, and diagnostic events needed to keep alerts working.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to:
- Detect unusual road conditions on highway segments
- Deliver timely hazard alerts to drivers who may encounter them
- Maintain service reliability, security, and fraud resistance
- Improve detection quality with aggregated, safety-oriented analysis
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data or location history to advertisers or data brokers
- We do not build marketing profiles from your driving path for third-party ads
- We do not require a social identity to receive core safety alerts
Sharing
We may share limited data with infrastructure providers who process it on our behalf under contract, or when required by law. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be used to understand system performance.
Retention
Observation and alert-related records are retained only as long as needed for safety detection, delivery, security, and legal obligations. We aim to minimize retention of fine-grained location history.
Your choices
You can disable location permissions in your device settings, adjust in-app alert preferences, and uninstall the app at any time. Some features cannot function without location access.
Children
PrismSwift AHEAD is intended for licensed drivers and is not directed at children under 13.
